Course Intent

To better gain insight on how a wheel works, what components make up a wheel (hubs, spokes, nipples, and rims), cover tension, truing (laterally and radially), rim shapes, spoke count, and lacing. How to identify an appropriate wheel for your use. 

Course Outcome

Understand various types of wheels, how they work, and how best to utilize a wheel for your needs. Identify and repair minor issues such as a wheel being out of true or a broken spoke.
