Bicycle Safety Ed Classes, Blue Heron, Spring 2018

PE teacher Mark Tallarico is the lead instructor, ideally with at least 2 volunteers for each class. The 6th graders are split into 2 groups, a and b, alternating days with either band or orchestra. Please arrive 15 minutes before the first bike class of the day & 10 minutes before others.Classes are 50 minutes long. We will be riding mostly on trails and to Fort Worden. The 12:24 class has 48 students. HELP! We’ll offer EXCELLENT lunch if you come at NOON. The largest Blocks (in terms of students) that would benefit the most from more volunteers are marked HELP NEEDED, however if you are only available during other blocks, we can still use you! Ask your friends to join in and help. No biking experience needed! You can always help fit helmets, stay with students who can’t ride well enough to go off campus, etc.
